How can we help?
How long will my order take?
We aim to print, frame and post your order the next working day after the order is placed. During busy periods or when we're running a little low on an item, this may take a little longer. Before placing an order, please check the 'Dispatch date' , this can be found on the product page (below the add to cart button), in the shopping cart and at the checkout.
After the item is dispatched, the amount of time it takes to arrive will depend on the shipping option you select at checkout.
For more information, please visit our shipping & returns page.
What if I need to change or cancel my order?
Contact us on hello@cadreprint.com as soon as you can and include as much information as possible e.g. order number, name.
Please note, once the order has gone into production, we may need to charge to cover the cost of any changes. We'll do our best to accomodate within reason, but in some cases we are unable to provide free changes (or a full refund) due to the made-to-order nature of the product.
For more information, please visit our shipping & returns page.
What's the minimum file size required?
We don’t have a minimum file size per-se (please read on for more on that), but it is important to try and upload the largest version of the image possible. We restrict the filesize of an upload to 20mb, which will be more than enough for our largest print size.
To keep our APP nice and simple, we've created a handy rating system to help ensure your upload is suitable for your selected frame size:
😔 Not Great – print will be less than 150 DPI
👍 Looking good - print will be more than 150 DPI
In a nutshell, DPI stands for ‘dots per inch’ – the number of little printed dots there is in an inch of your print. The larger the DPI, the larger the number of dots and therefore the clearer the print. Keeping that value over 150 ensures a clear and sharp reproduction of your image. Nowadays, you can create high-quality photos with a smartphone that will be absolutely fine right up to our largest prints, but If you're not sure and would like some further advice just get in touch
I'm not happy with my order, can i return it?
Each product goes through a strict quality control stage before it is dispatched, but If you're not happy with your order we'll do everything we can to make it right.
If you notice frames are damaged or missing, please contact us within 30 days so that we can resolve the problem. We may request photos of damaged frames and packaging for us to get to the bottom of what went wrong.

What is a Giclée print?
Giclée fine art printing is the gold standard when it comes to producing museum-level quality prints. The term Giclée — pronouncedgee-klay— was initially coined by printmaker Jack Duganne in 1991. Today, it's used to describe fine art printing using pigment based, archival quality inks, manufactured on advanced inkjet printers.
Whereas many traditional print technologies use the classic CMYK 4-colour combination (in some instances with the addition of a pantone referenced spot colour) Giclée printers use up to 12 individual colours. This gives much smoother gradient transitions and a wider colour gamut. In other words, more depth and richness to the final print, which helps to create stunning vibrant artwork with amazing reproduction.
What type of paper do you print with?
We use Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag. It is one of the world's most popular Fine Art papers for Giclée printing. The white cotton paper boasts a lightly defined felt structure, lending each artwork a three dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. Combined with the matt inkjet coating, this paper produces an outstanding print quality that feature brilliant colours and deep blacks.
Hahnemühle is one of the oldest and most renowned paper companies in the world. It traces its origins to the construction of a paper mill by Merton Speiss on 27 February 1584 in Relliehausen, Germany.
What printers do you use?
We use Canon PROGRAF proffesional printers, equiped with 12 color LUCIA PRO system. The ink system delivers an expanded color gamut that produces deeper blacks with more details and more vivid reproduction of colors.
These pigment inks are both acid-free and fade resistant which when combined with our range of cotton-based, acid-free papers can achieve a lifespan of between 80-200 years.
Can I print a custom size?
Yep, If you need a frame or mount that is not one of our 'off the shelf' sizes then please contact us on hello@cadreprint.com
